Our 2019 Event of the Heart Event Was A Great Success MCAVHN thanks everyone who supported our 32ndt Event of the Heart, “Love is in the Air” on Feb. 16, 2019.    Guests enjoyed wine from Roederer Estates, Frey Vineyards and Jaxon Keys, beer from North Coast Brewing Company and Anderson Valley Brewing Company, a selection of non-alcoholic drinks by Crystal Geyser Waters, dinner by Ellery Clark, live and silent auctions, and dancing to Severance.  We welcome a new sponsor, Gilead Sciences, as well as those returning from prior years:  Adventist Health Ukiah Valley, Orr Hot Springs Resort,  the George and Ruth Bradford Foundation, Jan Woesner, Savings Bank of Mendocino County, Mariposa Market, the Hunger Express, Brigham Law, Dr. Marvin Trotter, Doug Crane, and Danny Schott.  We thank Sheriff Allman for a lively auction and are grateful to those who answered our plea for help with rent: Claudia and Steve Prochter, Maryanne Landis and Howie Hawkes, Dr. Marvin Trotter, Terri Boudreaux, Norm and Susan McLean, John Rochat, Russ Minor, James Leslie Williams,  John McCowen, Don and Judy Popowski. Thanks to Wil Gonzalez for elegant decorations, to Banners and Signs for work on our State Street banner, and to Blueprints and Copies for help with printing.
